Well, this is my very first ever blog. I'm sure I'm just talking to myself but, you know, that's what we do as mums isn't it. I have 4 precious little darlings at home with me and as this is the second last week of the school holidays (actually if I was honest I would tell you there are exactly 235 hours remaining until my kids are taken to school for the beginning of the year) not that I'm counting or anything. Ha ha!
Anyway, I am Coordinator at the Dalby DPC MOPS group and, despite the fact that I can be a fairly dodgy mum, wife and friend at times, I do my best most of the time to be true in those areas of my life. I do really believe in MOPS. It is an awesome way to have mums connect with each other in a really non-confronting way. As a church run group people can get the impression we might have it all together and trust me, we don't. I really enjoy making cards but my schedule has been pretty busy over the last 12 months so I have been pushed for time and inclination to do more than I absolutely have to. Anyway, hubby (Troy) has offered to set up our front room as an 'office' for us so I have somewhere I can do it without having to pack it up for us to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner. How very inconvenient! Fancy expecting that I might pack up my gear for the rest of them to eat! Why couldn't they just use a picnic rug on the floor? Anyway, that should be a good solution for everyone I think. Troy seems to think it will be an 'office' but I'm hearing 'craft room'. LOL!
